A few days ago I posted a story about the older lady that was riding a motorcycle. Her son was the one driving and she's the passenger. I said on my post that she was brought to the hospital by the police. The police turn out to be the the brother-in-law of our friend. Yesterday I went to the house of these friend I was talking about and I asked them if they heard from their brother-in-law whose a police about whats the status of the lady that got the accident. It's been a few days now that it's raining here in Davao during day and night. It's nice that it is raining for days because the temperature is cooler. It's nice to just stay home and get comfy. The only bad side when it rained here as if everything will stop functioning. Like I had a worker before that she texted us that she can't come that day for work because its raining hard and she just didn't feel like working. My goodness we told her that the bill will not going to stop coming to your house because its raining. We have to pay our bills rain or shine. A few weeks ago I was thinking of hiring some people like a janitor to clean our house thoroughly. Don't take me wrong our house is already clean, but just want a professional to do it. Sort of like to be spotless. So I have my niece called up one of the janitorial place just not that far from our house. The lady at the other line said that she wants to see our house for her to make an estimate I said okay. An hour or so later the lady showed up and look around for a few minutes. Yesterday, Bob and I together with some of our friends heads up to Father Franco's place. He wants to continue our Thanksgiving celebration from last week here  at our house to his place yesterday. The group all planned to just meet up here at our house since we are the one that know the place of Father Franco. Bob, Me and our 2 friends rides on our car and our other friend and his family was behind following our lead. Wow, it's December again soon time for shopping of course. I just can't believe it that the 2007 is almost ending. As if it was just yesterday that we celebrated the 2006 Christmas. Time really fly so quickly. I felt I was just shopping from Christmas last year. I have to get busy in the next few days because this is also the time of the year for our business to get going. I have to shop for my mother-in-laws gifts to our kids too. She didn't send the balikbayan boxes this year because she was here in the Philippines from August-October. Wow, another year to celebrate Thanksgiving again. Being here in the Philippines for over 7 years now, It's so good to celebrate it here nowadays. I can pretty much buy everything I need to prepare and cook for Thanksgiving. Unlike when we first move here, being in General Santos at that time it's hard to get a good turkey. We bought turkey through our neighbor. The turkey is not that good, very tough we just had the native one. Now, practically every mall in Davao has a butterball turkey and the yams and pumpkin. Last week my mother-in-law and I went for facial at Blooms. You can find this place in Rizal Street. The owner's name is Golda. She's very nice lady. I've been going to this place for over 2 years now. So it really shows that they are good. They do lots of stuff like facials, foot massage, whole body massage, stone massage, wart removal, something to reduce wrinkle I forgot what they called there and many more. They had like menu that they will show to customer when a customer walks in there. They also sells soaps and cream too.
