I’ve been living back here for over 10 years now. I can really totally understand the people that want to retire here to wait until later, when they have money for retirement. For me it would be better at least you have the security in case the plan you made before coming doesn’t work out. If you don’t have money here you just get stuck and no place to go. I met a fellow (he is a Pinoy), he used to work abroad for almost 30 years. He was a successful man on the job he did there. Our Sarangani Farm!

During summer breaks of my kids this year, we went to my parents farm in Patag, Malapatan, Sarangani Province. Just less than 30 minutes drive from General Santos City. Its a place where I was born. Patag is a small barrio. I don't even know the population there. This is the first time that my 3 kids went there. They really had fun going swimming with their cousins(Leo, Glenrose, Cyril, Emmanuel, Joshua, David, Nichole, and Sahara. They probably would have stayed on that river for a long time if not that its getting dark. They really like to jump from that coconut tree thats just floating in the middle of the river. Travelling

Lately Bob and I have been travelling around Mindanao. I like it because I learn more and more about Mindanao while we go to different places. We meet up lots of people along the way too. We also tried some of the food that the place is famous for. Bob and I just got back a week ago from Tugaya in Lanao Del Sur. It was really a fun trip. Seeing those people from that place makes moro kris, brass ware, wooden drums and furnitures was more fun. I think its 99% of the people that live there are muslims. They really are nice people.
